Firstly it's a good idea to decide how far you want to paddle.
A half day canoe trip would take up to 4 hours. A full day canoe trip would be approximately 5 to 8 hours depending on the length of the trip and pace you are paddling.
At a average pace you should be covering around 2.5 miles an hour, and most people find that around 14 miles in a day is plenty if you haven't paddled before. Some customers can cover up to 30 miles in a day, for advice on distances for your group please don't hesitate to contact us.
